Thank you.

It has taken a lot of people to get me to where I am right now. I am ceaselessly amazed at the generosity, support, and love bestowed upon me, and I have a lot of people to thank for that.

To my family, thank you for everything that has led me to this point. Thank you for the experiences that cultivated my sense of adventure, thank you for investing all the time, energy, and money you did so I could participate in countless activities, thank you for establishing a family that celebrates each other and encourages dreaming. The road isn’t always easy, but I can’t imagine ever traveling down it without you. Love you to forever.

To my friends–you incredible human beings–you have changed everything for me. You are the most amazing people I have ever met, and I thank you for giving me people to aspire to be like. I always tell people that I surround myself with people better than me so that I can dream of what I can become. You overwhelm me with the amount of compassion and generosity you possess.

To my mentors, thank you for supporting me through all the craziness and head-bashing I’ve made you do. Thank you for the late-night emails, the long lunches, and the way you destroy entire theses with one question, but always encourage me to try again. You each have inspired my journey in ways you’ll never know, and all I can hope is that one day I am able to have the smallest sliver of impact on future wayward youth that you’ve had on me.

I’m not afraid of whatever life brings, because I know how many people are looking out for me. Thank you to each of you.
